We left the North Coast at Baie Comeau, embarking on the ferry to reach Matane's harbor. Arrived in the Gaspesie peninsula, from now on with the sun, we drove alongside the Gulf of the Saint-Lawrence, this time on its southern side. We went through small fishing harbors, all the way to the Cap des Rosiers village, with its lighthouse, the tallest in Canada. The Forillon national park and its cliffs on the cape welcomed us at dawn, just before taking the road 132 to the famous village of Percé, true symbol of the region.
