An early morning in front of the church of the Immaculate Conception of Panjim. Today capital of the Indian state of Goa, Panjim was chosen in 1843 to be the administrative center of the Portuguese colony which has now disappeared. Among the many traces of the Portuguese presence, the religious architecture is the most surprising. Far from their homeland, Portuguese sailors found here a taste of Lisbon, as it’s still the case today... TO KNOW MORE
