Hornstrandir's North Coast is facing the Arctic ocean. Beaten by violent storms and raging winds, its whole landscape seems to have been sculptured by this rude climate : steep black cliffs of the Hornbjarg to the rocky beaches filled with floated wood straight from Siberia. Everything here makes us think of those close but in fact far away icy land : from small polar foxes to impressive tabular icebergs brushing against the coast. No doubt in our mind, the great North isn't that far anymore...
